WOW! Stamp on CANDLES!!!!!
This takes a little practice. Some candles liquify so they require extra care.
1. Choose a votive or pillar candle.
2. Choose a stamp...practice positioning and rolling slightly to imprint on the curve.
3. Warm candle with a blow dryer. Move air back and forth, as you see the candle changing you can try with your finger nail to see if it is soft enough to imprint.
4. Press stamp on warmed area, roll slightly applying firm pressure.
5. Lift!
6. For added flair dry brush the imprinted area with a water based craft paint in contrasting color. It will help raise the image. (dry brushing: use a dry brush, a dab of paint, brush most of it off on a paper towel, lightly brush candle area until desired contrast)

HAVE FUN!!

New Ideas:
1. Use candle stamps to stamp tissue paper. Use to wrap votives or tealites. Tie with a ribbon.

2. Buy white lunch bags. Stamp candle images all over bag. Stamp tissue to match. Stamp a gift card to match.
Use to give gifts. Fan fold the top 1/3 of the bag. Hold center down with finger, pull up ends to meet in the middle, hole punch, tie with ribbon. Makes a fan fold gift bag!

3. One consultant used the candle border stamp with fabric ink (stamp pads available for fabric at craft stores) in pastel colors to decorate a baby blanket!!!! They will always know who the blanket came from! The candle give it away!

Past Ideas:
1. Personalize Thank You's to your hostesses by stamping your own card. You can purchase plain white cards and envelopes in stationery stores. Add the design you want with your personal note for a unique thank you.

2. When sending your hostess packet embellish the envelope with candle designs! Try metallic stamp pads for added flair!

3. As a thank you or gift for bringing a friend to a party, wrap a votive or tea-light in touling or tissue. Cut a small square out of construction paper or cardstock and stamp out "Thank you" or "From your Candle Lady" stamp on the card. Hole punch the card and tie it around the tissue with ribbon.

Attention Unit Leaders and District Managers:
New Ideas:
1. Play Hot Potato with a stamp wrapped in tissue stamped with candle designs. Start out by giving one of your girls the stamp. Give directions such as: pass it to the first person on your right that had two bookings this month. Increase the goal each time you give the direction to pass the stamp. Ending up with the consultant with the highest sales! Everyone gets temporarily rewarded and recognized along the way.

2. Make a "leader starter pack", use your stamps to stamp postcards, gift tags, envelopes, small gift bags: package together in a bag decorated with stamped images. Your new girl promoting to leader will have some stationery ready to use.

Past Ideas:
1. Motivate your girls with a votive wrapped in touling, add a packet of bath salts, and tie with a small square of cardstock stamped with our "Let your light shine" or "Lighten Up" stamps.

2. Give a rubber stamp for reaching their monthly goal.

3. Use our "Your invited" stamps to invite your unit to meetings or for a special engagement.

4. For a special bonus or special goal, offer a basket of stamps with a stamp pad and blank notecards. (Check back often for monthly specials on stamps!)
