1. Decorate paper plates with stamped images. Lay a clear plastic plate over the top. The image shows through, you can safely eat off the plate, and the kids will have a special plate to take home. 2. Stamp a border stamp once or twice, depending on length. Cut a rectangular shape around the image with decorative scissors. Glue end to end, use as napkin rings! Embellish with ribbon etc. Use gold or silver on dark paper for an elegant look, great for the holidays. 3. Make matching place cards and napkins by using the same images on the plate and napkin rings, or use accent images.
Teacher Ideas or Fun Kid Crafts: 1. Use a farm theme with A.R.K. stamps. Stamp images of Ma & Pa, the bunny, the crows, the pig, the boy and pig, the scarecrow, etc. Have the child color in the images. Cut around the image in a circular shape. Glue to popcicle sticks and use as stick puppets. 2. Make a theme mobile for the holidays. Use the fall stamps for Halloween or Thanksgiving. Color in stamped images, cut out, hang with string from a stick or hanger. Embellish with ribbons etc. 3. Use the Christmas Bulb or Ornaments. Stamp out as many as you would like on different color papers. Cut out, and hole punch the top of each ball or bulb. String on yarn, gently wind through twice in each hole to hold in place. This makes a fun garland! |
